Date: 2003-05-12 07:03 am (UTC)I take you aren't lucky enough to have gardening leave - quite often when you resign giving a months notice in City firms, you are escorted to the door after being given time to clear your desk. They still pay you for the month, but obviously you can't go to work in elsewhere - hence "gardening leave". Except last time that happened to me I hadn't dumped my email box, and lost hundreds of personal emails that I wanted to hold on to.
