The song for the day, if I had a copy handy, would be Nick Lowe's (What's so funny 'bout) Peace, love and understanding. But I don't.

Hence the Fugazi, I suppose. We'll draw a blueprint. It must be easy. It's just a matter of knowing when to say no or yes.

I wish for peace.

In other news, one of my friends here at work suspects that the man in hospital in Manchester with a mysterious serious respiratory illness he seems to have caught in Hong Kong is the father of one of her best friends. I hope he's alright.

According to a bloke I overheard on the train at the weekend, this is currently banned from radio playlists in the UK. I suspect this of being a bunch of arse... does anyone know ?

Didn't that ban also include Bang Bang by BA Robertson?

I've Googled for a list of these - first up was a non-existent page but on the cached version it lists:

Abba - Waterloo
A-ha - Hunting High And Low
Alarm - 68 Guns
Joan Baez - The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down
Bangles - Walk Like An Egyptian
Blondie - Atomic
Boomtown - Rats Don't Like Mondays

Anyway, that's only as far as the Bs!
