The song for the day, if I had a copy handy, would be Nick Lowe's (What's so funny 'bout) Peace, love and understanding. But I don't.

Hence the Fugazi, I suppose. We'll draw a blueprint. It must be easy. It's just a matter of knowing when to say no or yes.

I wish for peace.

In other news, one of my friends here at work suspects that the man in hospital in Manchester with a mysterious serious respiratory illness he seems to have caught in Hong Kong is the father of one of her best friends. I hope he's alright.

Nick Lowe's (What's so funny 'bout) Peace, love and understanding

According to a bloke I overheard on the train at the weekend, this is currently banned from radio playlists in the UK. I suspect this of being a bunch of arse... does anyone know ?

I doubt it's formally banned, but I'm fairly sure most DJs would be worried about getting leaned on for politicking if they played it. Last time round anything that could be taken as a reference to conflict was whitewashed - Massive Attack appeared on TOTP as Massive, frinstance.
