Today is the day of the 50 000th edition of The Guardian. There's a good laugh on the letters page. If you are a follower of their record page, anyway.

George Michael has apparently added himself to the list of people who've covered Song to the Siren. Unkind though I've been about him in the usual (mainly very distant) past, I wouldn't actually mind hearing that.
