Date: 2007-04-13 06:52 pm (UTC)He came on in full warrior rig, brandishing a broadsword, which he rammed point first into the stage. It just stuck there, vibrating slightly, while he did the gig. The entire crowd gazed at it as if hypnotised.
The funny thing is, I don't think he actually did much. He just hollered out a few minimal lines of vocal, and that was that. I have a 10" single he made round about that time entitled 'Life's a Killer Dog', and I swear he does nothing except sternly intone the words 'Killer dog!' at intervals throughout the song.
Quite possibly he was the world's first highland warrior minimalist rock star...
