It seems that Nicky H can't argue that the civil trial over his liability for the death of a business associate was flawed simply because he decided against defending himself. Seems fair.

In other news, it's been very sunny and the Meadows and links have been lousy with students and other layabouts, laying about in their summer gear. All a bit depressing,really.
