Guantanamo: important legal victory.

Correction: a US federal circuit court has ruled that the Guantanamo Bay prisoners may have the right to be treated as prisoners of war, and therefore the current tribunals are not legal until this point is determined. The federal government are expected to appeal to a higher court. BBC story here.

We've just found out about Acrobat's voice-reading function. Obviously our first reaction was to make up a PDF containing the words "Felch me motherfucker". Life's just so much fun when you're easily amused.

Last night I went to see Birth with gingiber and fabalafae. It wasn't as good as I hoped, but was interesting and enjoyable enough to be worth seeing anyway. Warning : this is not a fast-paced film. Action fans may wish to steer clear.

Bad Santa may be next. It has much swearing, which as we all know is the very acme of cinematic excellence.
