From The Observer:
Robbie's diplomatic mission
Singer Robbie Williams and artist Damien Hirst called on the Foreign Secretary Jack Straw to protest against moves by the US to have Brazilian diplomat José Bustani dismissed as director-general of the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons. They say the US wants him out because he has said America should be subject to inspections and has tried to find a peaceful solution to the Iraq stand-off.
The US stance is . . . more than a little odd. More details here courtesy of George Monbiot. Warning: somewhat tendentious.
