It's a depressing film. There's lots to like about it, I recommend it and it was a good use of time, but . . . a bit of a downer. And not in a particularly fun way. I think I'll sit it on the same shelf as Chasing Amy.

My mum worked on this film - I seem to remember poking around on the set at one point on location somewhere in London - No, no it must have been Paris, 'cause this was a Polanski production. AFAIKR she was coaching the female lead.
