I've been waiting on a program to finish running, and trying to find out some more about the Mercy Seat. It's hard going. Most of the stuff I can see from where I'm sitting is just explaining the author's own favoured justification of their brand of Christianity. There are some very good quotations involved, though.

I really enjoyed last night's Calling, although I see I was punished for leaving early by missing a Levellers track  :)

In general, there seemed to be more opportunities for enthusiastic bouncing around on the dancefloor for me last night than at most Callings - Oli's set was highly entertaining, if a bit perms-and-blue-jeans in places.

Not yet. I haven't forgotten - it's right by my bed. I was going to take it over Sunday, but the debacle with my licence meant I didn't end up going over.

I won't forget (tempting though it is to . . .)
