That bonsai of Wechsler's does have little green traces scattered over it. It lives. When it'll be ready for the trip into London is a different matter.
demudi looks interesting. They have .debs up of various interesting stuffs. Including Ardour.
Moz1.3 doesn't like my cursor keys.
WRT the SF/Fantasy 50-book lists, I want to stress again that The Book of the New Sun isn't Fantasy. Anne McCaffrey's "Dragondross" books aren't either, but as (unlike Mr Wolfe's) they don't carry the Graham Clark Seal Of Ultimate Fantasticness, I won't labour the point.
Hmmm. Something else, I'm sure.

Date: 2003-05-22 02:11 am (UTC)In the absence of a genre for thinly-veiled teen romance novels featuring telepathic flying horses, fantasy will just have to do.

Date: 2003-05-22 08:05 am (UTC)have you tried the water plunge on it? You basically plunge its roots into not-cold water, including the whole pot, up to the bottom of the trunk, then leave for about 2 minutes after the bubbles stop. It's revived a few of mine, although there was one chinese elm that it didnt work on, so I chopped it up and used it as a mini yule log.
