Buzzkunst? No I haven't heard it yet - it's on my shopping list though. I think the only Magazine album I didn't rate was Magic, Murder & the Weather - it really lacked John McGeoch!

Ah St. Eve - glad you liked it enough to give it an outing.

The thing about Gabrielle is that she really is a performance artist, and the shows differ greatly from one to the next. Sometimes its just her and a DAT (occasionally just a single song at some large event), other times her & some other girls on stage for a few numbers doing interesting things, then other times its the full band playing a full set, featuring Kerry Smith of Anathema Device (anathemadevice) on guitar. Really rather good to catch, esp. when its the full band. Supported Numan's last tour y'know - not that that is anything to really brag about :o)

Well, one of the reasons bands send out their demos to DJs all over the place is in the hope that if people like what they hear they might actually *buy* some of the bands stuff.

Seriously tho', the CD with the songs from the demo is out now, and the songs are in their finished versions. It is a little less raw than the demo, plus it has a load of other goodies on it. The CD and other stuff, like some cool coffee mugs, are available from here.

No requests, no. They did insist on dancing to nearly everything, though - even the really good ones they're not supposed to have heard of. My reputation is in ruins.

And yes, there's a new RB demo, with apparently (as you'll have seen above) a good chance of more to follow.
