I was going to mention this a couple of days back : A footpath blocked by jailed property tycoon Nicholas van Hoogstraten for 13 years has been opened after a campaign by ramblers.

Yes indeed. It seems that Nicky Hoogs is still in jail. And he's also a bit poorer. My heart bleeds for him, obviously. Apparently Jeffrey Archer's still in the chokey also.

There seem to be a few Puressence gigs coming up in abut three weeks. The closest I've been told about is in . . . Sheffield. Hmm.

For some reason your posts are displaying as having been posted 24hrs ahead of now (this one is 12:18 on the 13th for example)

Dou you think the anti psychotic drugs would work on those two? Maybe we should transfer tham to Arkansas. If it stops Archer writing it might be worth it!

I think that tme came off the LJ servers rather than from this end.
Have I mentioned my idea for a new version of Celebrity Big Brother? It's sort of a cross with Prisoner Cell Block H. We'd have Archer, Hoogstraten, Mark Morrison (assuming he can't stay out of trouble, which seems likely), perhaps a few others if anyone suitable's available, and a suitable non-showbiz person to offset them. I was thinking perhaps Harold Shipman, or maybe Dennis Nilsen. There shouldn't be any need for a voting mechanism.

No, it's definitely you: my Friends page goes (from the top) Wednesday, Thursday, Wednesday, with your posts slotted into the Thursday section. Must be that new machine of yours. It seems crazy if LiveJournal takes its timestamps from the client, rather than generating them at the server, though.

I suppose another explanation could be that you connect to a different server from everyone else, and that one has its time set wrongly. I saw a link the other day that showed you which server cluster you were on. It was linked from a news or maintenance post that I can't be bothered to track down, saying that Chef was going to be down. I was on Cartman.

Interesting. I used the web interface for that post, and the server supplies a time which you can edit for timezone (but I never do). I'm at work, you see. On my friends page the post's at the right place for when I actually posted it.

You're a day ahead on my friends page too, but it puts a couple of pretty purple lines in the middle of the page so I don't mind. :)

I heard about the footpath on R4 the other day. They took great delight of playing back the interview where he called the Ramblers scum. And emphasizing that he's still in jail.
