Is that Suicide as in Alan Vega?
Full original line-up. Alan Vega and Martin Rev. The album's been out for a couple of months, I think. It's . . odd. I'll have an opinion when I've heard it a few times, I think. It has a we-re-quite-pissed-off feel to it. The titles are things like "Televised Executions" and "Dachau, Disney, Disco".

Date: 2003-01-14 08:46 am (UTC)It's about Jon Ronson's adventures with various groups of fanatics, cultists, whackos, conspiracy nuts and illuminated secret masters. Several chapters were published in the Grauniad, namely the ones on David Icke, the Bilderberg Group and a fundamentalist Muslim cleric from West London (can't remember his name), while others address the Aryan Nations, the Ku Klux Klan and the Ruby Ridge siege. Good stuff.
