England is today providing its unfailing 100% overcast during any interesting astronomical events.

It's pretty much entirely overcast here, but I just caught it through a thinner patch. There's a big bite out.

Keep checking. There was another good gap went over KB a couple of minutes ago.

Unfortunately, I live well away from KB, and all I saw was couds (well, when I got the chance to look during a frenzied getting ready for classes).

There'll be another partial - only 20%, roughly - visible from here in March, weather permitting, and another in August 2008.

I travelled from Bristol to Hull yesterday, under continuous 100% overcast 8-) The news had a great picture from some astronomy club or other, with solar flares clearly visible, so I made do with that 8-/
