Going . . . down.
Jul. 22nd, 2002 04:57 amWell, as noted elsewhere (I've been busy, OK?), it's a manslaughter conviction and a possible life sentence for Hoogs.
lhiss says "here's hoping he drops the soap a few times, eh? :)". I can't imagine what he means. If I'd been on the jury I'd have gone for conspiracy, murder, treason, encompassing the death of the heir to the throne, piracy, and arson in Her Majesty's dockyard - which goes to show why they vet jurors, I suppose.
In other news, the sun has come out, all injustice has been eradicated, humanity lives joyfully in peace and freedom and the West Midlands planning authorities have given permission for the New Jerusalem to be constructed on the remains of Birmingham city centre.
Hallelujah.
