Another day in the cupboard
Mar. 24th, 2005 02:04 pmLast night, another meeting, but in a pub. Rather more social, too, and some fairly important decisions got made. More people turned up, as well, so we're gradually getting towards where we need to be (although if anyone's still interested . . .)
The Holyrood was quiet, and the gents' wasn't awash in piss. On the other hand, they were out of Addlestone's. Later we adjourned to the Hoose, where they did have Addlestone's, as the people whose ears I bent were too well aware.
I seem to have tomorrow off, and it also seems to be spring. This combination means I should probably mow the lawn. Fortunately it's a very small lawn.

I'd hope to do that next year when I don't have a dissertation to write and an assortment of interesting family matters to deal with, but this year it's just not realistic.

To say that I'm short of time just now is a bit like saying that the sea is slightly wet, but if you're absolutely desparate for people and can cope with my not turning up to all the pre-meetings (I'm thinking that might be unwise from a liability point of view, but let me know if it isn't...) then give me a call.
> how many perfid_albion folk are involved in Beltane already?
