Voltaire - would like to see
Psychophile - would watch if I was there
Screaming Banshee Aircrew - would like to see.

SATURDAY
In The Nursery - would consider going along just to see
tbc (Should be confirmed by next week) - (insert flippant commment about having tbc's second album and finding it disappointing)
Devilish Presley - would watch if I was there, although i was slightly disappointed before.
Greenhaus - would travel to avoid.

Decisions, decisions.

Oh dear -- SBA are the only band I actually like. Greenhaus and ITN I've seen too many times and don't really like. Devilish Presley I've seen and would suffer pain to avoid repeating the unfortunate experience. Psychophile I've seen and am indifferent to but would probably avoid. GLJ and Voltaire I've never seen nor particularly wanted to. Not a line up for me.

Which version of GLJ?

One of them's now banned from using the name in the UK, so it'll be the other one.

Jay's version or Michael's version?

Greenhaus - would travel to avoid.

Depending on whether or not they've got guest vocalists, I might actually watch a bit. Other than that, I'd definitely travel as far as the bar...

Jay's version, to judge by the website. Assuming I've got the right website and they haven't booked a bunch who aren't allowed to perform in the UK... :)

Ah, Jay's version then.

I've seen both versions and the original version down the years.
Michael's the better singer in terms of voice quality but Jay's the more emotive singer. (Actually, I've got drunk with both of them on separate occasions as well but that's another story.)

Well, it's all academic anyway.

Oh, come.
I'm looking at cottages - if I find somewhere with a spare bed, do you want to come in on it?

Twice I think. It is wholly possible I am confused on this.

Whitby isn't about the bands anyway.

ITN will probably be ok, as will DP if you like that sort of thing (bands with the Deathrock rubber stamp).

If I went to Whitby for the bands I'd probably never go!

Well, that's a lie really, I suppose we've had the Damned, Paradise Lost, Clan Of Xymox, Faith & The Muse... etc

I think my primary reason for going to Whitby is simply to get out of London for a week.

Respondents to [livejournal.com profile] mistressmalaise's poll on the subject seemed to be of the opinion that tbc is Queen Adreena. Is that the general consensus?

Oh crap. (Hell, I even like Greenhaus) Having booked long weekend in Ireland, BTV III in Leeds (tickets came today) and holiday in France in May, there's no way I can do this.

The only band out of that lineup I'm *desperate* to see is Voltaire, and I suppose I can hope there's some other UK dates. I loved GLJ Back In The Day, but I'm wary of the nostalgia trip.

Voltaire is ace!

He is quite funny-his Star Trek song is hilarious!

I want to see him (again) more than the rest of the line-up.

It seems to be official now. I was keen to go before but that's pretty much made up my mind. I saw QA at The Venue a couple of years ago & thought they were very good. I quite liked the 2nd album though :)

(Grin) Well, I will look out for Voltaire then.
