More Bauhaus gigs? Cocteau Twins reform?

Coming on top of the DCD reunion, this is starting to sound quite entertaining.

Sounds like someone ripped of Bauhause for that new(ish) LandRover advert.

Ah, I'll not get excited yet then. Unless they play a festival in North Yorkshire in the 3rd week in April...

Kinda. It's a blatant rip off but different enough for them not to get sued. I think it’s off Bela Lugosi's Dead. After looking around a bit it could be some geeza called Howie B, but my Internet connection is shite so I can’t double check if it is. :/

No, that's PWEI, PE and New Order...

It's the Pixies' fault. One band get back together and do a great tour that everyone goes nuts for, and then everyone's doing it! PWEI pulled it off brilliantly, but somehow I doubt most others can :/

It's the intro to BLD.

But Bauhaus have already done the reforming and playing a few dates thing (and pulled it off brilliantly) a few years ago.

*grin* Well, I would sooner see the Cocteau Twins myself -- though I can't imagine their gigs exactly rock.

Do you think they can do it again?

I have a feeling I'll end up going to gigs if they play here...

Well, I will certainly go along again. I saw them on three dates of the last lot and didn't regret it (though Pete Murphy looks something like a tubby Caligula these days).

I saw them at Brixton in '98 and thought they were awful, like some dreadful cartoon karaoke version of Bauhaus.

To each their own -- I was there and loved it. But I never saw them first time around.

It's not unlike going to see the Cranes :)

Oooh don't -- I've wanted to see the Cranes for years. I like the new album a lot too.
