Mundane miscellanea.

The meeting was interesting . . . I bet you don't hear that said very often. I took lots of notes and learned a great deal.

Today has been very quiet. I spent a while waiting for the confocal to be unused so I could climb on a desk next to it and have a dek at what was happening in the ceiling. Nothing, as far as I could see.

The door into the toilets has a loose arm on its closer, which stops the door very suddenly when only a few inches open. I've smacked my face off the edge twice today. I'm torn between reporting it and just taking a spanner up there myself. The latter would probably be several days quicker.

Tonight I have to spend some hours in a pub. Obviously I don't want to be doing such a foolish thing, but it appears to be my civic duty.
