Riyadh attacks.
May. 13th, 2003 12:12 amAccording to the BBC, three people have been killed in three bomb attacks in Riyadh, and around 50 injured. Colin Powell, who is about to visit Riyadh, "said the attacks bore all the signs of Osama bin Laden's al-Qaeda network."
Or, it should be noted, of pretty much any other guerilla group, on current evidence.
Addendum: we still haven't found any weapons of mass destruction. I'm going to have a big brass plaque made up in a few months, with "I TOLD YOU SO" on it in big big letters. I will polish it daily.
In other news, Mark Sandman is still dead (but Maggie isn't), and furthermore Jeffrey, Hoogs and Tony Martin are still in jail.
