Oops! Like I always say - the best accident prevention device is the Mark I eyeball - but I guess it's a bit tricky to see a bloody great hole in the runway in the dark. Looks like it made a nice pyrotechnics display as well by the scorch-marks.

Now, if it had been an easyJet aircraft, none of that would have happened, because we are just so conscientious at doing a smooth landing that we'd never have touched down so short on the runway : D
