Low are a quiet Mormon three-piece. I've a habit of playing their song "Christmas" at people, as there aren't many Christmas songs I like (and this one isn't even about it being Christmas).
It's almost heavy metal compared to some of their other songs. Long Way Around The Sea, from the same EP, is incredibly hushed. They don't make extensive use of drums. ON what I have by them, at least.
I love the bit about getting lost. It made the whole song come alive for me. I suppose it's like what Billy Bragg does - puts in inconsequential details, so it sounds more like something that really happened. I was reading an article the other week that said much the same about Brando's acting.
