Well, the builders are done, so now it's the decorators' turn. The remaining stuff in my room had to be shifted away from the walls. I didn't get any notice of this, of course, and if I hadn't the day off to be in for the NTL phone engineer (finished very quickly and I'm phonable again) I don't know what would have happened. Of course, it may be carpet next and for that *everything* will have to be shifted . . . probably out into the garden.

However, it's all one step nearer finished - and at that point various things that are blocked will again become possible.
