Have you heard Emmerhof & The Melancholy Babies? I think you might like them - they have Cave influences but a sound of their own.

Is it not Goddish and lame then? When I heard him in London he was vexingly Goddish and relatively lame as a result; not unlike Peter Murphy in Gotham.
