It was really foggy in south east London last night too, so absolutely no chance of seeing it. I'm hoping it'll be visible when I'm in Edinburgh in a couple of weeks.
It was, inevitably, cloudy up here until well after midnight. No sign of anything after that.
I don't think anyone has any idea how long this surge of activity's going to last. I get the impression it'd be very unusual for it to go on that long, but then it already counts as very unusual indeed, so who can say?
