Now we are six.
May. 4th, 2003 02:25 pmI have a couple of other things to comment on later, but I'd just like to first mark the fact that this is the sixth anniversary of another Sunday six years ago, when I first gave {cough] someone a lift back to Leith and then drove to Cambridgeshire to start a job here. A lot's happened since then - not least that we've finished the Project two years early.
Anyway, I'm nearly gone. And for the benefit of anyone who's commented on it recently - yes, that smile is still on my face, thank you. I may eventually have to have the corners of my mouth surgically detached from my ears.
Right. Depressing and anger-inducing stuff follows. But not immediately. I'm going for a walk in the spring sunshine first, to buy booze for a party later. Life is so hard sometimes.
