Would anyone recommend anyone to host a very basic website? Maybe only one static page, cheaply and without hassle?
Cheers.

One gig data transfer is one United States peso^Wdollar. One megabyte of files costs one US
cent
per month. They only charge you what you actually use, from an account that you prepay.

Sorry, the former:

They have a simple to use GUI thing for creating a small site with just a few static pages - ideal for the non-techy person.
