I've just spoken to my sister - she's fine.

She's spoken to Manuel. He's fine too.

I'm glad to have heard from so many of you. One thing to bear in mind - given the number of millions of people in London on a working day, nearly everyone is unhurt, so anyone you're not heard from yet is almost certainly just having difficulty getting through.

Also: other news is that dealers are selling the pound. Nice to see it's business as usual for some people.

I guess I must have been pretty close when it happened as my train started experiencing delays at Moorgate. Didn't hear or see anything and was only inconvenienced by a bit of a hike from Kings Cross (where we were evacuated) to Regents Park.

Yep, and just as I'd sent my bank instructions to transfer my euros into pounds as well... tsk. (Sent that off this morning just before everything happened, I'll get a crap rate when it goes through in three days' time.)

What's surprising me is that they're selling insurance company shares too - haven't they seen an insurance policy's exclusions??

A major donor insisted for a couple of years that we have an insurance policy that would cover terrorism-related risks, but the cost was ludicrous.
