List five songs that you are currently "digging".
It doesn't matter what genre they are from, whether they have words, or even if they're not any good. But they must be songs you're really enjoying right now. [Is anyone "digging" any rubbish songs?]

The Blue Nile: Tinseltown in the rain. Not helped by spending a weekend in Glasgow (although in fact the prevailing weather was bright sunshine). At least one other person there was thinking about the Blue Nile too, which is reassuring.

Killing Joke:Under a southern sky. I don't know why. I haven't thought much about it for a few years. I do like this album, even though everyone else apparently hates it.

The Auteurs:Lenny Valentino. I read the lyrics recently, and it isn't about what I thought it was. In fact, it makes almost no sense to me at all. It's still a brilliant song, though.

Ballboy:I lost you, but I found country music. They're playing in a couple of weeks, but I think I'll miss it. Other things are happening.

The Ramones:She talks to rainbows. I hadn't heard this until a few weeks ago when I picked up a compilation. I didn't get the last Ramones album, partly from being peeved over them only playing one British gig on their last tour. My loss, it seems.
