Now, according to this BBC article, US album sales rose 7% from the first half of last year to the first half of this year. Presumably this was achieved by the destruction of filesharing, right?

Errr . . . filesharing was destroyed last year, wasn't it? I mean, it can't just be the US economy having been in recession and now picking up again, can it?
