There have been a couple of interesting articles in the Grauniad over the last couple of days concerning the upcoming war.
( more boring stuff about the end of the world )
I notice also that HM Govt have backed down on the use of Hyde Park. The Countryside Alliance have noted that they asked to use the park for their rally in December and got turned down for exactly the same reasons, so I guess we can now look forward to people saying that the anti-war demo's getting special favour from its friends in government.
I've picked up a couple of very good records over the last couple of days too. I finally took possession of the Linus 12" that
swisstone got off
andypop and that got left out at
karmicnull's place for a fortnight. It's very good and I like it, especially the first track, "Don't Forget", which is very immediate. In another week or two I may have a different favourite, but it's that one at the moment. And in the post today was a copy of The Crimea's highly excellent "Lottery winners on acid", which I also expect to be listening to a lot for the next while. All well on the pop front.
