A couple of news items. Sort of.

Also, there's this work-related item. Actually, not many people were that surprised. It was rumoured to be the case a couple of years ago. Tosser. Since this came out about a week ago, Celera's shares have lost a quarter of their already-low market value - in spite of the fact that Venter was asked to leave a couple of months ago and was last heard of slumming it on his yacht in the Gulf of Mexico, poor lad. If this goes on much further, expect me to organise a whip-round to buy Celera's smoking remains as a fireside ornament.
