Depends if 'recent graduate' is coding for:
someone bright, desperate and naive;
someone who recently learnt whatever the field is and hasn't forgotten how to learn;
someone young;

Since you're neither that young (I'm afraid) or desperate and naive (as far as I know), see if it's the second one.
