Good God, the Guardian's credible today. John McGeoch's obituary, Ben Zephaniah on Bob Marley, and interviews with Kevin Shields(!) and Brody "unfortunately not Béatrice" Dalle.
And Wednesday's review of the stage version of "His Dark Materials" by the Archbish of Canterbury is worth a look too.
My mail's still not working, incidentally. Hopefully it will be later on. I'm reading the paper, then I'll go to the shops and tidy up a bit. I haven't heard anything about the job I had the interview for last Friday, which surprises me a little as it didn't seem like the sort of job they'd take their time over. It's getting to me a bit. I want to hear.
Addendum : Ooer Missus. But the chief concern at early screenings here was over the welfare of a dog that provides a service to a lady of dubious moral fibre. "We had a screening at the Chelsea Arts Club in London," says Reilhac. "Two women were very upset about the dog, and they kept asking if it was harmed in any way. I told them that as far as I could tell that little dog was very happy. Thank God I took out the scene with the duck."
