Guardian round-robin story

Those of you of a creative bent might like to have a look at this page of the Grauniad's website. MIchael Moorcock has written the first part of a story, and (so far) two other sections have been written in a round-robin manner. Further installments of 500 words are invited, with deadlines listed per part until the end on the 4th of December. Prizes for inclusion are volumes from the highly excellent SF Masterworks series (which everyone should check out, in my view - insert usual Gene Wolfe plug here).
