I just got a mail from Sara, from all the way overseas. I considered the Saras that I know abroad, made an educated guess and wrote a reply. Then I reconsidered my guess, deleted it and wrote a reply to a completely different Sara, which I then sent. Being an inquisitive soul, I then did a quick google search on the domain and realised I'd been right the first time. Arse!

Said Sara, you see, hasn't been in the UK in about three years at least, and I've not heard from her in about two. She's been in the Gulf. Come to think of it, she only used to have my work email address . . .

Anyway, so I've sent another mail chasing the first one. And no doubt I'll mail the other Sara also to relate this doubtless hilarious anecdote.

Anyway. The Calling. Yesterday being Tuesday (yes, yes, I know . . .), and the alternate Tuesday rather than the unalternate Tuesday, myself and flatmate Lorien had an evening
of discothequeular entertainment to arrange. As usual, this involved turning up five minutes before everyone else and pretending that we'd spent hours preparing our sets (which should soon be available somewhere around here ). I had the first set, and got to explain to someone that yes I could indeed play some Foetus, and in fact I had it cued up already and it would be on next. This Is Always Nice.

Ex-regular James was on next. He said he was going to pitch his set somewhere between cheddar and stilton, and he didn't disappoint us. It went down pretty well. Loz was on last, and managed to hold people their quite impressively. I managed to miss him playing the Skinny Puppy request, which was obviously a shame, but what I caught was a good set.And lots of people stayed right to the end, so either it was a good one or our audiences are gradually getting stupider. No prize for guessing which I like to believe.

Tonight's been calm. Tomorrow I may or may not be going gliding or flying or something.
Time for bed now, unless I can't sleep in which case it's time for another chapter or two of The Code Book, which is indeed as good as I was told.

Toodle-pip!
